Store - First of the Month

The first of the month people buy, buy, buy. At the loca AC store on the first the place had lots of customers. It usually only has a few customers. One person had 3 filled baskets and ended up with a total bill of $1200.00 dollars. Then the person had to load it all into a sled and pullit behind a sled to take it back to Alukanuk.

I took this picture because the sun was brilliant and different. The sun was filtering through the clouds and it showed extremely bright in the center. It just seemed so much different than normal that I had to shoot the picture. The picture does not do it justice really. It was about 20 derees at the time.
