BREAKING: Donald Trump Floored By Allegations That Vladamir Putin Is Blackmailing Him (DETAILS)
A little over a month ago, former CIA agent and Republican Evan McMullin entered into the race for the White House as an Independent candidate, specifically in opposition to Donald Trump. He is now attempting to make waves by throwing out an assumption he has about Donald Trump, stating in an interview on CNN this past Friday that he believes Trump is being blackmailed by Vladimir Putin.
Since the Commander-In-Chief forum, Evan McMullin has been more than vocal about his disapproval of Trump and the constant praise that he has given Putin. McMullin stated in his interview on CNN that he thinks it’s unfortunate that we as a country have to debate on whether or not it’s a good thing that Trump is so fond of Putin.
‘It’s so unfortunate. Vladimir Putin is one of the primary sources of instability in this world, and the thought that we would have a Republican nominee so “in bed” with Putin, I think is so discouraging and really a bad thing for our country…’
After McMullin continued on about how disgusted he was with Putin, morning co-anchor Kate Bolduan asked McMillan, “You’ve also said that you think Trump is being manipulated by President Putin. Where do you see that, where is the evidence?” He explained that he thinks there is enough evidence simply in how chummy Trump is with Putin. He also talked about some things he heard from former co-workers that can back up his assumptions:
‘You know I hear from some of my old intelligence friends that Donald Trump has been engaged in some activities in Russia that Vladimir Putin may be using to blackmail Trump. There’s a lot going on there that I don’t think has come to light, but the proof is in the pudding, as they say, and you can see it in Donald Trump’s actions.’
McMullin also pointed out various appointments Trump made to his staff that he believes support his claims. Paul Manafort, who was once Trump’s campaign manager, was forced to resign from from his position after investigations into his ties with former Pro-Russian president of Ukraine. He also stated that Trump has hired key members of his staff who have financial ties to Russia as well.
