Nearly 24 hours after it began, the Democrats’ sit-in on the floor of the House of Representatives, to demand votes on common sense gun reform, continues. And the Republicans? They adjourned and fled in the dead of the night to begin their Fourth of July vacation. In June. There’s some priorities for you. 

The cowardly attempt by Republicans to hide this protest from the public eye—cutting the cameras, the sound (and trying to cut the wifi)— failed spectacularly as C-SPAN continues to broadcast from the floor via Periscope.
