The GOP has been quite good at suppressing votes the last 10 years.
“Late Night” host Seth Meyers last night took a “Closer Look” at North Carolina’s newly enacted voter ID law that many are calling a “voter suppression measure.”
Meyers noted that the new law “could block as many as 218,000 registered voters from going to the polls” in November.
“In 2008, Barack Obama won North Carolina by just over 14,000 votes,” he added. “218,000 votes could literally be the difference between President Hillary Clinton and Glorious Beloved Leader Donald Trump. All praise to him and his magnificent hands.”
