Iditarod Update

Here is where you get the latest on the Iditarod.  They had 40 degree weather yesterday, which is not good for the dogs or mushers.  They are used to 20 degrees or below and overheating is a real possibility with the warmer weather.  The snow is also melting and heavy which makes it slower going.
*In Juneau, I have only had to shovel my car out ONCE since Jan 9, which is crazy.  I am supposed to be shoveling out my car every other day here in Jan and Feb.  Weird weather - climate change.
