Fracking is where chemicals which cause cancer in people is put into the soil with sand and massive amounts of dirty water to push natural gas out of the soil. The problem is that the chemicals find a way into the drinking water which people must drink. You have seen the videos of water catching fire.
Finally, in NY, they are pushing through a 2 year ban on fracking.
