Its busy and buzzing.
Not only figuratively speaking. Planes are coming and going. That can be
tough for the dogs to rest. People are milling everywhere. 41 teams are
out of Finger Lake. 11 have shown up here in Rainy. That means 30 teams
are strung out on 32 miles. The teams arriving here now, are …

I have been in a small village when a lot of planes came and went. It is a pretty exciting time for a little village. When I was in the village, we had a weekend with a big funeral and a basketball tournament so the town was packed. We also had a blizzard so people could not get out of town for 3 extra days. We also had tons of snow mobiles. It would not be a good thing for dogs to sleep. I am sure the dogs are used to quiet which is not the case with planes and snow machines moving all over.
