Life is weird. I am in the sun of Portland and I really enjoy it. I get to see my kids and grandkids which is so very amazing. I might also say that I miss teaching in AK. It is like a second family in a way - weird. This year, I am fortunate enough to have people I work with who can run the program without severe complications. Last year, leaving was a real problem for me. I ended up going back to problems which made my job more difficult and progress of students slower. I do spend time here wondering and even worrying how things are going in my class though.
I am going to keep putting up Alaska pictures until I get back to AK. I will then put up pictures of the little ones
Wishing all the best.
Vote President Obama - for our country and our children.
PICTURES: I always see the Eagle from the back from my house. I walked down to the park with my new camera and took front pictures. of him. There are often 2 Eagles but this day only 1.
The barge is just what I normally see out of my windows in the winter time. Right now, there are a lot of villages getting supplies for the winter so they are getting supplies and equipment in and out before the ice freezes up rivers. There are also fuel barges which are racing up the rivers to get fuel to the villages before freeze up.
