A BEAR IN THE TREE!!  I am In Portland, OR and I just got a phone call from my landlord in AK.  He said, Brisco, be careful going back to the apartment because there is a bear sleeping in a tree.  he said it was sleeping in the tree all day.  I told him I was in Portland so I don't have to worry about it.  I wish I were there though, I could have gotten some good pictures.

This video of a momma bear and two cubs was taken about a week ago at the Mendenhall Glacier visitor center.  I was standing on a ramp above the bears.  The little guys were back in the woods yelling and bawling like they were fighting for about an hour.
