We have a boil water order for the town. We are using water from the Yukon River and we must boil it until further notice.

Yummy. I remember that in Africa... only I would be much more comfortable drinking Yukon river water than some of the water we had available to us in Zimbabwe. Have fun boiling.
I spoke to the dentist and he said he would drink Yukon water over water in the rivers in the lower 48. All of the pesticides and fertilizer do weird things to animals and people.
There are not many people in Alaska and lots of volume of water so the water is safe. he felt comfortable using it for his Dentistry.
He said 25 years ago, before a sewer system, they would go to the bathroom in a bucket and put it out the back door to freeze. He said it is better now, with a sewer system.
he comes every other month for 2 weeks. He lives in WA state when not in Emmonak.
