Cutting Taxes on the wealthiest DOES NOT GROW THE ECONOMY! A suppressed report

The Republicans made sure this report was ignored, because it shows that the present meme of Cut
Taxes for the Wealthy has not historically grown the economy.

NRA just made it HARDER TO TRACK ILLEGAL GUNS!! Sad!

The NRA got Gun Bills passed and they make it harder to find out where guns that kill people came from and what people owned them.  We just had 20 children and 6 adults killed and The NRA spits in the face of those who died.  Here is the impact of the new bills.  They were passed when they passed the budget bill to keep government running for 6 months - this is total crap.

1) Limit enforcement tools against crooked dealers. One rider would prevent Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) agents from shutting down gun stores due to “due to a lack of business activity,” arguably a sign of criminal sales.
2) Shield gun dealers who “lose” their guns. This legislation precludes any federal law that requires gun retailers to count their guns and submit the results as a mechanism of determining whether any weapons have been lost or stolen.
3) Interfere with ATF gun trace reports. The ATF is now mandated to include, in any reports concerning its tracing of guns back to crime, that trace data “cannot be used to draw broad conclusions about firearms-related crime.” Academic work on guns has used trace data to firmly establish that several firearm regulations effectively prevent the spread of guns to criminal.
4) Expand the class of protected guns. According to Roll Call‘s John Gramlich, the fourth permanent law would “place a broad definition of antique guns and ammunition that may be imported into the United States.”

Accountability for the Iraq War? 10 years later, we are asking this question

A lot went wrong with the Iraq War.  Those who took out the Trade Towers on 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq.  There were no WMD's ever found.  If a single country had to be looked at it was Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia.  Going into Iraq was a decision made by the decider, GW Bush, as he was being egged on by "You going to take Saddam out or not? (wimp)" Dick Cheney.  GW did not even get all of his cabinet together to discuss the pro's and con's and discuss the cost, policy implications, dangers to our military and/or HOW LONG IT WOULD LAST.

10 years later, we are talking about accountability for a war started 10 years ago.  Funny though:  Benghazi happened and it was a BIG DEAL, but we did not or DO NOT have the right to discuss the mess which is Iraq.  Two wars are bankrupting our counry - wars and tax breaks to billionaires have caused our deficit.

10 years of War in Iraq. Now we find out GW Bush and Cheney did not ask Powell or Rumsfeld to talk pros and cons before starting the war.

GW just said, we are going to war and started the bombing.  GW Bush DID NOT ask his top military advisors or state department people about the hows and whys and how long.  then we have Cheney meeting with Bush daily saying, "You going to take him out or not" and implying that he is a wimp if he does not start the war.  GW Bush even had intelligence tell him that there were no WMD's before the bombing began.  IRAQ WAS A WAR THAT DID NOT NEED TO BE FOUGHT!  And then to put it and Afghanistan on Credit Cards and throw in tax cuts to bring in even less money is making a financial disaster.

The THOUSANDS KILLED AND WOUNDED IN IRAQ was a waste of people and resources.

The Democrats caved on the Gun Bill and will not even vote on a ban on 30 or more bullet clip or Assault Weapons - such a shame.  We are in a country of 300 million people and an organization of 4 million people (NRA) is setting our Gun policy which makes for a very unsafe place to live.  60 percent  of the people want a large bullet clip ban and an assault weapons ban.

18 year old sentenced to life in prison for killing 3 and injuring more with gun

In Court, he wore a shirt that said KILLER on it and then made rude comments to the parents of the boys killed and injured.  He then flipped off those in the court.  I hope he never gets out.
