IF CONGRESS WERE YOUR Fellow Employee!! Eye Opening - Very Good

http://americannewsx.com/elections/pine-trolls-republican-congressmen/

Just click the link and watch it!!!  This is amazing!!!!  It says so much about our current Party Of NO!

Chris Pine has been busting onto the scene with his epic portrayal has Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the U.S.S Enterprise in the Star Trek film franchise. Now he is letting his political voice be heard in the most hilarious way possible. By trolling obstructionist Republicans in a genius way – as your co-worker.

Chris Pine Nails It

He covers all the bases here. He hits cry baby Republicans over their shutdown of the United States government. This happened when Congress refused to raise the debt ceiling in order to pay the bill that their spending got us into in an attempt to delay the Affordable Care Act. The ACA has been responsible for insuring millions of Americans as well as preventing insurance companies from denying access to coverage due to pre-existing conditions. The hissy-fit  actually cost the United States a downgrade of its credit score. Thanks, Republicans.
Chris Pine nails it on Republican filibusters when defending a busted microwave in the office break room. He points to a nefarious looking gentleman playing with fire claiming that Pine will get a job from him if it stays once he leaves the company.
Pine destroys anti-science Congressmen by flinging snowballs in the office and yelling “science isn’t in the Bible!” Then quickly running and hiding from his problems.
Chris Pine also drives it home on the gender bathroom issue stating when he comes across a gender neutral restroom “This frightens and arouses me.” Probably one of the most hilarious skits in the whole video. I personally spat beer on my computer screen.

What Could Get Rid Of Such A Horrible Person?

The same thing that will get rid of these horrible congressmen. Get out and vote.
Enjoy the hilarious video below and watch Chris Pine troll Congress in the most epic way.

Krugman: The ELECTION IS RIGGED! (Against Democrats, Minorities and HILLARY CLINTON)

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/11/7/1592550/-Krugman-Agrees-The-Election-is-Rigged?detail=email&link_id=2&can_id=626e66a269d15190e2bba2bb5e01ff6e&source=email-texas-early-voting-final-numbers&email_referrer=texas-early-voting-final-numbers&email_subject=texas-early-voting-final-numbers

The election was rigged by state governments that did all they could to prevent nonwhite Americans from voting: The spirit of Jim Crow is very much alive — or maybe translate that to Diego Cuervo, now that Latinos have joined African-Americans as targets.
...
The election was rigged by Russian intelligence, which was almost surely behind the hacking of Democratic emails, which WikiLeaks then released with great fanfare.
...
The election was rigged by James Comey, the director of the F.B.I. His job is to police crime — but instead he used his position to spread innuendo and influence the election.
...
The election was also rigged by people within the F.B.I. — people who clearly felt that under Mr. Comey they had a free hand to indulge their political preferences.
...
The election was rigged by partisan media, especially Fox News, which trumpeted falsehoods, then retracted them, if at all, so quietly that almost nobody heard.
...
The election was rigged by mainstream news organizations, many of which simply refused to report on policy issues, a refusal that clearly favored the candidate who lies about these issues all the time, and has no coherent proposals to offer.
...
The election was rigged by the media obsession with Hillary Clinton’s emails.
...
It’s a disgraceful record. Yet Mrs. Clinton still seems likely to win.
I’ve known for a long time that Trump uses psychological projection to feed his own ego. For instance, when he calls you “little,” he’s actually worried about the small stature of his own appendages. When he calls you “crooked,” he is covering up for his own illegal and unethical activities. When he makes fun of disabled people, he is worried about his own mental capacity. He’s the kind of guy who would actually criticize someone else’s hair style despite having that crazy looking fox on his own dome. So when he calls the system rigged, you can assume that he is the one doing the rigging.

Anderson Cooper destroys Trump Campaign Manager for being a hypocrite

WATCH: Anderson Cooper BEATS DOWN Trump Campaign Manager For Being A Hypocrite

Kellyanne Conway finally got buried by a barrage of questions calling her and Trump out for being hypocrites, and it was totally epic.
When FBI Director James Comey first cleared Hillary Clinton of any wrongdoing, Donald Trump attacked Comey and called the system rigged. And then Trump did the opposite when Comey announced the discovery of some more emails. Now Donald Trump is once again attacking Comey.
During an interview on CNN, Anderson Cooper asked Conway to explain why Trump is still saying that Hillary is going to be indicted when the facts don’t support him.
“Wasn’t it irresponsible of him at that point to be saying such things without having any facts, particularly now that Comey has come forward and said there was nothing there?” Cooper asked.
Conway then launched into complaints that Hillary’s campaign attacked Comey, only to be reminded by Cooper that Trump’s campaign has done the same thing every time they didn’t get the result they wanted.
Cooper asked his original question again, and Conway still refused to answer by attacking Clinton. Conway also reasoned that it’s okay for Trump to speculate without facts because some people on CNN have done so. But Cooper told Conway that “just because people jump off a bridge doesn’t mean you should.” Conway finally was forced to say that she doesn’t think Trump is being irresponsible.
Conway then whined about Hillary going negative against Trump, which forced Cooper to remind her that Trump has been going negative throughout his campaign.
Then Conway swerved again and focused on the Clinton Foundation. But once again, Cooper foiled her talking points by noting that we know more about the Clinton Foundation than we know about Trump’s tax returns, because unlike Trump, Hillary released documents.
“Isn’t it a little hypocritical to be using information that you know about the foundation because they actually have released all of their financial records when your candidate hasn’t done any of that?” Cooper asked.
Of course, Conway denied the blatant hypocrisy and quizzed Cooper to answer how Trump made his money. Cooper zinged back by saying people build buildings and Trump slaps his name on them for licensing fees, which made Conway cry foul.
Conway then returned to whining about Hillary’s campaign attacking Comey after praising him in July. But again, Cooper hit Conway with the fact that Trump has also gone back and forth attacking and praising Comey.
And then Conway claimed that Hillary had her maid print out information. Cooper flattened that claim by pointing out that it was a story by the New York Post that hasn’t been confirmed.
Finally, Conway claimed that Hillary is desperate by hanging out with performers like Beyonce and Jay-Z, but claimed that people are only going to those rallies to see the celebrity singers. But when Cooper pointed out that Ted Nugent is appearing with Trump at rallies Conway insisted that people are going to those rallies to see Donald Trump.

Van Jones Confronts Trump Supporters in their own home - It is time to talk.

http://www.alternet.org/election-2016/watch-van-jones-confronts-trump-voters-calling-civil-war-if-hillary-wins?akid=14854.294211.Hc-kHm&rd=1&src=newsletter1066695&t=22

As part of a Facebook series called “The Messy Truth,” political commentator and former White House staffer Van Jones sat down for a fascinating back and forth with Donald Trump voters to discuss why they are backing the GOP nominee and why they can’t vote for Hillary Clinton.
According to Jones, “I feel like we’ve gotten this thing in America now, where we talk about each other, we never talk to each other.”
Jones’ mission led him to Gettysburg where he sat down with a group, only to be told right from the start, “If Hillary gets in, there could very well be a civil war.”
“There are a lot of people who are really freaked out if she gets in,” the unidentified man continued. “I’m one of them. I don’t have guns and stuff to do anything about it, but I know people who do.”
What transpired from that point was a wide-ranging and illuminating discussion on the merits of both candidates, with Clinton described as a “liar” and “corrupt,” and Trump defended by one woman saying his fans don’t care what he does.
Pressed on Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric about race, Corradetti said people need to to “toughen up,” when it comes to be offended, causing Jones to push back.“People I talk to about Trump, they don’t care,” said  Kimberly Fean Corradetti, who hosted the visit. “They don’t care that he is egotistical. They don’t care that he doesn’t know how to speak eloquently. They need a change, and they need it yesterday.”
“No, you don’t have the right to tell someone else how to deal with the pain that they’re going through,” Jones responded. “If you say, ‘You should have a thicker skin,’ if you say, ‘You have got to get over yourself,’ I’m gonna hear that as, ‘This person does not respect me, does not understand me, does not know what I’ve gone through.’”

The Trump Assassination Attempt was someone holding up a sign!!! (Trump went off stage to get a change of depends and then returned)

http://addictinginfo.org/2016/11/06/trump-gets-his-a-handed-to-him-for-running-off-stage-because-some-guy-had-a-sign/

The Responses were excellent.

rump even posted that “nothing will stop us” on Twitter in reference to the incident in Reno.
And then Twitter users pounded Trump for being a coward.

Donald Trump and his campaign should be ashamed of themselves for touting this as an actual assassination attempt. The guy whom Trump supporters accused of having a gun did NOT have a gun and was released after speaking to Secret Service. Frankly, Trump deserved to get his ass handed to him on social media, and hopefully he will get his ass handed to him on Election Day.

This is well worth watching!!!  VOTE BLUE ON TUESDAY!!!!

Trump released a plan to PRIVATIZE ROADS: Privately owned and we would pay a fee to use them.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2016/11/04/donald_trump_s_plan_to_privatize_america_s_roads_and_bridges.html

So this is kind of cute. While most of us were tearing our hair out over the FBI and Hillary Clinton's emails last weekend, Donald Trump's campaign quietly released a plan to privatize new infrastructure development in the United States. I know, that's not very sexy on the surface. But given that the man might be president come Tuesday, it seems worth remarking upon. Because it could mean we'll all be paying to drive on more roads built for profit.

Jordan WeissmannJORDAN WEISSMANN
Jordan Weissmann is Slate’s senior business and economics correspondent.

Trump, as you might have noticed during this long, emotionally torturous campaign, likes to wax poetic about America's collapsing bridges and “third-world” airports, and he has vowed to fix up the country by doubling Hillary Clinton's proposed spending on infrastructure. At the same time, he’s also promised to pass gargantuan tax cuts while limiting the budget deficit.
This has all raised an obvious question: How, exactly, does America’s angriest clementine plan to pay for all of this building? I mean, Mexico isn't going to cover the wall and repairs to I-95, is it?
Thankfully, we now have an answer from two of Trump's chief economic advisers. In a report from Oct. 27, University of California–Irvine professor Peter Navarro and private equity honcho Wilbur Ross outlined how the candidate would transform about $167 billion of federal tax credits into $1 trillion of infrastructure spending. Factor in the effects of economic growth, they argued, and the cost to taxpayers would amount to zero, zilch, nada. Or, as they put it, the whole thing would be “budget neutral.”
Of course, it‘s not really free. Americans would just end up paying for the construction a bit later on.
Under Trump's plan—at least as it's written (more on that in a minute)—the federal government would offer tax credits to private investors interested in funding large infrastructure projects, who would put down some of their own money up front, then borrow the rest on the private bond markets. They would eventually earn their profits on the back end from usage fees, such as highway and bridge tolls (if they built a highway or bridge) or higher water rates (if they fixed up some water mains). So instead of paying for their new roads at tax time, Americans would pay for them during their daily commute. And of course, all these private developers would earn a nice return at the end of the day.
The federal government already offers credit programs designed to help states and cities team up with private-sector investors to finance new infrastructure. Trump's plan is unusual because, as written, it seems to be targeted at fullyprivate projects, which are less common. That may or may not be what the campaign entirely intended; in an email exchange, Ross and Navarro suggested to me that the tax credits could also be used for public-private partnerships, but they were a bit vague and muddled on the details. In any event, one obvious disadvantage of relying so heavily on private developers, as the Washington Postnotes, is that it would mostly encourage new building in wealthy areas that can afford to pay high user fees. Private companies go where there are private profits to be earned, after all. Poorer areas—areas where infrastructure may be more likely to be crumbling!—could end up being neglected.

GREAT ANTI TRUMP SONG AND VIDEO - Lots of swearing

http://occupydemocrats.com/2016/11/04/celebrities-just-made-anti-trump-video-ages/

In this amusing but alarming musical number, famed songstress Rachel Bloom joins a star-studded crew to pen a parody of “We Are The World” as a last-ditch attempt to remind American voters of just what exactly is at stake in this election, pleading with the American people to please, please not vote for Donald Trump.
Joined by such star-studded names like Zach Reino, Jack Dolgen, Moby, Mayim Bialik, Adam Scott, Adam Pally, Melissa Rauch, Jane Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Bloom has a simple statement for everyone: “Holy Sh*t, Get Out And Vote.”
I can’t believe I’ve had to stoop so low. But an orange talking STD has driven me to this recording studio! And now Moby is on the drums while Elizabeth Banks plays bass. So we can try to convince the USA not to shoot itself in the face.”
At this point in the game, if you haven’t accepted that Donald Trump is a serial sexual predator who has made his entire business career off the backs of others and his entire political career off of appalling and un-American ethnonationalism who would destroy our economy and leave the world at the mercy of the predatory ambitions of dictators like Vladimir Putin, this song isn’t going to convince you. But it’s a fun little diversion that still hits home just how critical the result of this election is going to be.

Genetically Engineered Beluga Whales turn people into Homosexuals at a Water Park!! Religious Right are upset.

http://liberaldarkness.com/2015/07/23/genetically-engineered-beluga-whales-are-attacking-christian-families-with-homosexual-chemtrail-water-at-seaworld/

The genetically engineered beluga whale is showing all the classic hallmarks of homosexuality:   rippling abs that shamelessly glisten in the waters beneath the summer sun, a healthy rose hue of the skin and a unnerving desire to expose Christian families to homosexuality.
The disturbing image from Seaworld in Texas is the latest evidence that Obama’s Jade Helm invasion to enforce gay marriage in the state has many battlefronts.
Sources within Seaworld report the ‘rose pink beluga’ is genetically engineered and was sent to the waterpark via the US Parks Service, which is controlled by the Obama administration.
The beluga whale shows an unnatural pink skin, an exhibit ofgenetically engineered homosexuality first found in pink river dolphins.
As temperatures soared to nearly 100 degrees in San Antonio, the families gathered at the water park for last moments of summer fun were shocked to find the whale aggressive, muscular and spritzing rainbow colored cold water from its mouth.
Somehow within the beluga whale, normal water is laced with homosexual chemtrails .  The animal is then trained to find probable Christian families in the crowd and then spray them with torrents of the water that quickly soaks into the skin.
Eyewitnesses report that moments after the whale sprays over swaths of the screaming crowds, men start showing signs of homosexuality.  Their eyes linger on the male figures of the animal trainers.  They get irritable toward their family and seem to make eye contact with other fathers and men in the crowd.
Until further notice the Christian Defense League of Texas is warning families to travel to Seaworld with the precaution that gays are using animals to bring homosexuality to the American family.  It may be best to boycott seaworld until the homosexually engineered animals are removed from the water parks.

Soledad Obrian tells MSM: You have Normalized White Supremacy

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/soledad-obrien-eviscerates-cnn-you-have-normalized-white-supremacy-with-shoddy-trump-reporting/#.WB5X0Y6eFbN.facebook

Follow the link and watch the video.

rmer CNN host Soledad O’Brien blasted the cable news business over the weekend for profiting off the hate speech that has fueled Donald Trump’s political rise.
According to O’Brien, the media had gone through “contortions to make things seem equal all the time” when comparing Trump to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“If you look at Hillary Clinton’s speech where she basically pointed out that what Donald Trump has done — actually quite well — has normalized white supremacy,” O’Brien explained to CNN host Brian Stelter on Sunday. “I think she made a very good argument, almost like a lawyer. Here is ways in which he has actually worked to normalize conversations that many people find hateful.”
“I’ve seen on-air, white supremacists being interviewed because they are Trump delegates,” she noted. “And they do a five minute segment, the first minute or so talking about what they believe as white supremacists. So you have normalized that.”
“And then Donald Trump will say, ‘Hillary Clinton, she’s a bigot.’ And it’s covered, the journalist part comes in, ‘They trade barbs. He said she’s a bigot and she points out that he might be appealing to racists.’ It only becomes ‘he said, she said.’ When in actuality, the fact that Donald Trump said she’s a bigot without the long laundry list of evidence, which if you looked at Hillary Clinton’s speech, she actually did have a lot of really good factual evidence that we would all agree that are things that have happened and do exist. They are treated as if they are equal.”
O’Brien insisted “that’s where journalists are failing: the contortions to try to make it seem fair.”
The former CNN host argued that the question that journalists should be asking is if Trump is “softening the ground for people — who are white supremacists, who are white nationalists, who would self-identify that way — to feel comfortable with their views being brought into the national discourse to the point where they can do a five minute interview happily on national television?”
“And the answer is yes, clearly,” she said. “And there is lots of evidence of that.”
O’Brien observed that cable news outlets were effectively being rewarded for bad behavior.
“So hateful speech brings a really interested, angry audience,” she noted. “This is genius! We should do this more often. What shall we do when this election is over? We’re going to have to think about ways to really rile people up, make them angry and divide them.”
“Because that is something that cable news, frankly, and everybody can cover really well,” O’Brien lamented. “So, I find it very frustrating. I believe he was over-covered at the beginning.”
“Now, it is ‘he said, she said’ all the time. We have lost context. We actually don’t even cover the details of something. We just cover the back and forth of it. It’s funny to watch if it weren’t our own country and our own government actually operating.”

OR takeover of Public Land thwarted by a Badger (Funny)

http://www.idahostatesman.com/news/local/crime/article112603068.html

This is funny.

The sagebrush-dotted high desert in Eastern Oregon does not offer a lot of places to hide when fleeing from police.
But wily Gregory A. Morrow, 22, of Ontario, found a large badger hole to crawl into and hide. He may have gone undetected had his dog not run and crawled into the hole with him when it saw police approaching. It is a good thing the dog led police to the hideaway, because Morrow was stuck about 8 feet underground.
Police spent more than an hour digging him out.
According to an Oregon State Police news release, Morrow most likely would have died from exposure had he not been rescued.
The incident began about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in Ontario, when an Oregon State Police trooper saw a stolen vehicle, a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe, and tried to get it to stop. The driver drove away. An Ontario Police officer pursued the vehicle for a short distance but called off the pursuit over safety concerns.
Inside were Morrow, his dog and another man. Police learned later that the men were on Bureau of Land Management land near Vale. They began a ground and air search and located Jerry E. Boatman, 35, of Ontario, traveling by foot. He was arrested and charged with escape and parole violation.
A couple of hours later, police spotted the Tahoe in a ravine. Police followed the tracks leading from the vehicle for more than a mile before they spotted the dog.
As officers approached the animal, it fled into the badger hole. Police got the dog out and heard a man screaming for help from within the hole. Police discovered Morrow feet first in the hole. He said he his arms were going numb.
Police spent an hour and a half digging. Morrow was taken to Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Ontario and treated for minor injuries. Police arrested him on a parole violation warrant and said further charges are pending.

Trump Attacks a journalist at gathering on campaign trail: She needs Secret Service protection.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-katy-tur-florida-rally_us_581aa7b8e4b0c43e6c1e1795

GOP nominee Donald Trump singled out NBC News reporter Katy Tur on Wednesday during a rally in Florida, continuing to taunt reporters covering his campaign.
Tur has been embedded with the Trump campaign, following the candidate throughout the presidential race. Trump in the past has called out Tur publicly by name, and has referred to her as “Little Katy, third-rate journalist.”
During his usual takedown of the “dishonest media” in Miami on Wednesday, Trump called out the press ― and specifically Tur ― for being biased and not reporting fairly on his campaign.
“We have massive crowds. They’re something happening. They’re not reporting it. Katy, you’re not reporting it, Katy.” Trump said to cheers. “But there’s something happening, Katy. There’s something happening, Katy.”
CNN host Wolf Blitzer last week asked Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway to talk to the Republican nominee about singling out reporters, especially those embedded with the campaign, citing safety concerns.
“He points to them, he sort of eggs the crowd on to go after them,” Blitzer said. “There are a lot of young journalists. He shouldn’t be doing that.”

Dear Angry, Dumb, Entited, Insecure and Angry White Men - I am tired of you

https://femsplain.com/dear-dumb-entitled-insecure-angry-men-of-the-world-i-am-tired-of-you-de97a95b8c8b#.fdhxa67cl

Friday, or an hour ago, or six months ago, news broke that Director of the FBI, James Comey sent a message to a number of Republican Congressmen about the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. What about Hillary Clinton’s emails? Well, nothing really new. There are three more of Them. It should be noted that They didn’t come from Hillary Clinton or from her server. We don’t really know why They are supposed to matter at all. But that doesn’t make a difference.
James Comey, a registered Republican for most of his adult life, has spent the last few months being berated by the faction that has consumed the political party with which he once identified. I don’t envy Mr. Comey for being someone for those who feel angry and cheated can project at least part of those feelings onto. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn’t understand how impactful the message he sent to those Republican Congressmen would be.
Yes, there’s some information about Hillary Clinton, and we’ll look into it to see if it’s important. I am one of you. I am doing my duty.
But of course, when the media hears the words “Clinton” and “email,” they manufacture it into a scandal. There is no new information, no implication of wrongdoing, nothing embarrassing or consequential at all. And yet the Twittersphere descended into the teeth-grinding, hand-wringing, self-digesting frenzy of a would-be October surprise.
Donald Trump is very good at being a bully. His supporters do their best to live up to his example.
I am tired.
Tired of the misinformation and the endless news cycles.
Tired of the shriek of “bias” if anyone attempts to point out that the Clinton campaign, with their emails leaked and emails turned over to the public and with years of tax returns provided, are playing with one hand tied behind their back against a candidate who hasn’t even released his tax returns.
Tired of the seemingly endless ways arrogant and entitled men like Anthony Weiner find to take down women around him.
Tired of the gloating, glowering Twitter accounts with Nazi references and Jewish conspiracy theory leanings, and the ones who go through the trouble to email me, telling me that when Trump wins, my family and I will be “taken care of.”
I check FiveThirtyEight three times a day, half-listening to my boyfriend because I need to see whether Hillary’s percent chance of winning has gone down in the last hour, refreshing the site on my phone under the table and feeling impotent when the number is stuck.
I am tired of smart, capable women being called bitches, or wondering which Clinton non-story the alt-right will latch onto today or which evidence of corruption, of greed, of lies, of harassment, of racism, of sexism on the part of the Trump campaign will be ignored.
I am beyond tired of men who see women as accessories to show off their own wealth or vitality, the type of men who see a hot woman as a challenge, the guys who say they want a smart girl until they feel defensive or threatened by a girl who might be smarter than them.
If I’m exhausted, I can’t imagine how Hillary Clinton feels.
She’s stayed poised over a lifetime of belittlement and worse from those who would always hate a woman in a pantsuit saying she just might know best. A graduate of Yale law school and former Secretary of State who’s had to listen to a blustering know-nothing use fear to rile up people looking for any excuse to hate her. Who has been humiliated again and again in the public spotlight only to return because she still believes she can help us.
November 8th is thankfully only 8 days away, and when Hillary Clinton becomes President (I cannot force myself to type the other possibility here) at least this daily, incremental anxiety will be over. We are all going to be very, very tired. And we are all going to need to keep working.

Olbermann talks about the FBI fiasco re: Wiener emails.

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/10/keith-olbermann-comey-and-chaffetz-conspired-to-hand-election-by-treachery-to-donald-trump/

Keith Olbermann called for the immediate resignation of both FBI Director James Comey and Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) for their handling of the latest Hillary Clinton email revelations.
A furious Olbermann said Comey and Chaffetz — who had rescinded his endorsement of Donald Trump over a hot mic recording that revealed him boasting of sexual assaulting women — appear to have colluded on the release of the statement Friday afternoon for partisan political gain.
“Why did (Chaffetz) late Wednesday night suddenly pivot back to supporting Trump?” Olberman said. “Why did he reverse 36 hours before Comey’s historically slovenly, craven note that left Pandora’s box unjustly unlocked so that a sniveling little coward like Chaffetz could peek inside (and) then deliberately exaggerate what he saw and fuel Donald Trump’s latest delusion rage.”
Olbermann said Chaffetz put words in Comey’s mouth by saying the investigation, which had never been officially closed, had been reopened, although other FBI agents have said Clinton did not send or receive the newly recovered emails.
“Then Donald Trump said that — and lied,” Olbermann said, and then much of the media reported those inaccurate claims throughout the weekend. “By the time they started backtracking, the toothpaste was already out of the tube.”
Olbermann said the timing suggests that Chaffetz is either a prophet or he knew Comey’s note was coming.
“If Chaffetz knew Comey’s note was coming, then he and Comey or other sources in the FBI have colluded to try to manipulate the election, in which case Mr. Chaffetz and Mr. Comey may need the best criminal defense attorneys that money may procure,” Olbermann said.
He wondered whether Chaffetz tipped off Trump about Comey’s note, and Olbermann wondered who could “clear this up a week and a day before the most important election since before the Civil War?”
“(Chaffetz) and James Comey may have been the lynchpins in a plot to turn over this country by treachery to Donald Trump,” Olbermann said. “It is a plot that is indeed, as Trump boasted, worse than Watergate.”

The Not Guilty Verdict with the Bundy Domestic Terrorists set a dangerous and far reaching precedent.

http://www.commondreams.org/views/2016/10/31/why-oregon-standoff-verdicts-set-dangerous-and-far-reaching-precedent

I was nearly killed earlier this year while counter-protesting the paramilitary seizure of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. After accusing me of being an FBI agent, the armed occupiers there worked themselves into a mob. Hog-faced militia thugs barked, “he’s a fed.” Some pawed their pistols. I was told snipers were trained on us. It was dangerously close to violence.
"The cradling of the Bundy’s media circus at Malheur, and the government’s over-confident bungling of the ensuing prosecution—sets a dangerous and far-reaching precedent for the kind of paramilitary intimidation and right-wing violence that underpins their movement."
For weeks last January a small rag-tag group of public lands supporters protested the Malheur occupiers. There was a handful of us, and dozens of them—all 30 miles from the nearest law enforcement. We crashed press conferences, staged counter protests, and marched into their occupied barracks with signs. We were threatened, harassed, blasted with bull horns and trailed by thugs with assault rifles.
We saw first-hand what was live-streamed to the world: An illegal paramilitary seizure of one of the crown jewels of our national wildlife refuge system, and the months-long social, cultural, economic, and environmental terrorization of an entire community. So, like many others, I was jarred by last Thursday’s acquittal of seven defendants: How could such an obvious, video-taped crime could go unpunished? Here’s how: Federal fumbling.
The Bundy clan and their followers peddle a dangerous brand of radicalism. Their core ideas—that the federal government lacks authority to own public land, and that county sheriffs are the highest form of law enforcement—are rooted in hard-right racist ideologies created to sidestep federal civil rights laws by elevating local authority. They’re perfectly suited to ranchers, like Cliven Bundy, who refused to pay deeply subsidized federal grazing fees.

ACA Rate increases are higher in states that fought ACA implementation. 18% increases to 28% increases

Even in light of all that, Gaba makes the case that partisan and ideological leanings have influenced rate trends. The biggest divergence is between states with their own marketplace exchanges and those using the federal healthcare.gov. It’s not clear why that is, though it’s possible that the refusal to open a state exchange serves as a proxy for all the silly, niggling ways a state government can throw obstacles in the way of Obamacare, such as refusing to fund “navigators” to help residents find the best plan for themselves, or failing to negotiate with insurers to secure the best prices.
The next biggest divergence is between Medicaid expansion and non-expansion states. Nineteen states, all controlled by Republican governors or legislative majorities, or both, still haven’t accepted the expansion, to the certain disadvantage of their citizens and their state budgets. The federal government covered 100% of the expansion cost for the first three years, and 90% or more after that.
The benefits of Medicaid expansion, in public health and fiscal health, have been well-documented. Expansion states have lowered their uninsured populations and costs to local hospitals of uncompensated care. Moreover, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, “states expanding Medicaid under the ACA have realized budget savings, revenue gains, and overall economic growth.” Throw in Gaba’s findings of larger premium increases, and expansion Medicaid looks even more like a no-brainer. That should raise questions about the brains inhabiting the statehouses of the states still turning it down.
all the knee-jerk hand-wringing over the announced rate increases forAffordable Care Act exchange insurance (sorry for the mixed metaphor, but it’s apt), one factor in the increases has been consistently overlooked. On average, states that have been hostile to Obamacare are facing the largest premium increases for 2017. Residents in states that have embraced the law will do much better.
This points to one indisputable flaw in the law as it was enacted in 2010: The ACA gave the states too much power to implement its provisions. Their authority was enhanced by subsequent tweaks to the law by the White House and Supreme Court.
Given the extent to which ideology has clouded minds in many statehouses across the country, this was a real blunder. It was only magnified by the decision of Chief Justice John Roberts to transform the law’s mandated expansion of Medicaid to bring insurance to the poorest Americans into a state-level option.

Charles Gaba, that indispensable tracker of ACA rates and policies, has fleshed out this phenomenon by comparing the weighted average premium increases for states that implemented the ACA cooperatively, even enthusiastically, with the increases in states that have resisted. (Gaba weights the increases by the enrollments of the insurance companies; in other words, a rate increase by a company with 100,000 customers counts more than one by a company with a few hundred customers.)
He finds that the weighted average rate increase for states that expanded Medicaid is 22.1% for 2017; among the 19 states that still have not expanded the program, it’s 28.9%. In states that formed their own marketplace to enroll Obamacare consumers, the increase is 17.3%; among those that rely on the federal government’s exchange, healthcare.gov, it’s 28%.
Finally, among states that refused to allow consumers to remain in pre-ACA insurance plans that didn’t comply with the new law as of 2014, the weighted average increase is 18.8%; among those that capitulated to hysteria over canceled pre-ACA insurance plans by grandfathering the non-compliant plans for as long as three years, it’s 28.4%.

Put these three factors together, and the states that fully embraced Obamacare will see increases of 18.2%. Those that fully resist will see increases of 29.8%.
“Fully embracing the ACA (expanding Medicaid, running your own full exchange, sticking with the original timeline, etc.),” Gaba observes, “is a pretty good way to help keep rate hikes down.”
A few caveats are in order. Figures for the resisting group may be skewed by Oklahoma, which will experience an off-the-chart premium increase of 76%, in part because it has only one insurance provider, Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The effect, however, is marginal, since Oklahoma has only about 164,000 enrollees in ACA plans; Gaba calculates that the total rate increase would fall to 28.4% from 29.8% if Oklahoma is excluded. California, which has embraced Obamacare and where rates will rise an average 13.2% for next year, has about 2.2 million individual market enrollees.
