CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell slammed the Donald Trump White House Tuesday for putting out a list of terrorist attacks they felt had not been undercovered by the media, a list that included widely-covered tragedies like the Paris attacks and San Bernardino shooting.
“Here’s the list that the White House put out where they can’t spell the word ‘attacker’ correctly,” O’Donnell snarked on This Morning, while holding up a copy of the list. (The White House also misspelled “San Bernardino”).
“It’s farcical. This is farcical, the claim,” she continued. “Isn’t it an attempt to distract from these legal woes [surrounding the travel ban]?”
“Facts matters,” she insisted. “As we pointed out at the top of this broadcast, in none of these instances are the attacks in the United States — were they from people of those countries that had been banned by President Trump.”
