The Republican governor of Maine, Paul LePage, unleashed a furious profanity laced tirade against a Democratic lawmaker after he described LePage as a racist.
Previously we reported:
The tiff between LePage and state Rep. Drew Gattine began after LePageimplied black drug dealers impregnate “white girls.” He said, “These aren’t the people who take drugs. These are guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty. These type of guys. They come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, then they go back home. Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young, white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue we’ve got to deal with down the road.”
That was when he came to know the national media spotlight. Instead of walking back his comments, he’s instead doubled down. He is calling minorities “the enemy” during a press conference Friday. He also talks about “shooting the enemy”, which it is no stretch of the imagination means that he is talking about more lenient conditions for violence against Blacks and Hispanics.
