The war against Black Men is why Sterling was killed.
The owner of the Triple S Food Mart, Abdullah Muflahti, just confirmed it. The cops showed up and murdered the wrong guy when they shot Alton Sterling to death in the convenience store’s parking lot while he was completely unarmed and already restrained by police.
The Daily Beast reports that Muflahti has released statements calling Sterling his friend, and indicating that he was welcome at his store. Sterling had only been doing what he normally did every other night he was at the store – selling his CD’s
Alton Sterling was THE WRONG GUY.
A call came into police saying “a man” was waving around a gun and threatening people near the store. Muflahti didn’t make the call. He never saw any “man” either. Muflahti even went out to tell the police after they arrived on the scene that there was no “man” bothering anyone and that Sterling was not a problem.
POLICE DID NOT CARE. THEIR RAGE NEEDED A VICTIM AND ALTON STERLING WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME.
Cops disregarded the words of the store owner and attacked Sterling anyway. They tasered Sterling, and while he was on the ground still being tasered Muflahti started recording the incident with his phone. He pleaded with police again, trying to tell them that they had the wrong guy and there was nobody around who was threatening any people in or near his store.
Again the police disregarded his statements, and while Sterling was still being tasered was when the “gun” magically appeared in Sterling’s hands.
Sterling had taser prongs in his body, and high amount of electricity was coursing through his body. This was the same time that police said he wasn’t obeying the command, “don’t move.” Never mind that he might have been moving involuntarily due to the shocks running through his body.
Not long after that police executed Alton Sterling right there in the parking lot where he had previously been welcome. He never had a gun.
COPS THEN MADE A MOVE THAT WAS UNPRECEDENTED AND SEIZED PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHOUT A WARRANT.
After the shooting, Baton Rouge police shipped everyone that recorded the incident down to the police station for interviews. During his interview, the store owner was asked for the surveillance video from the store. He refused, saying he wanted a warrant before he’d turn it over.
The police again did not care. They forcibly seized the store’s video surveillance records without a warrant. When asked about the incident, a source told the Daily Beast that Muflahti was told by the police that they didn’t want him to see the video.
