As the wheels come off of Donald Trump’s campaign before it’s even left the starting line, even Trump’s slobbering fan club at MSNBC’s Morning Joe are threatening to abandon him. On Wednesday morning, Joe Scarborough more or less exploded at Trump’s week-long temper tantrum at Judge Curiel. The “presidential” Trump has been leveling accusations of bias against the judge simply because his parents are Mexicans. The real problem, of course, is that the case is not going well for Trump so he’s looking for a scapegoat.
But Joe, perhaps looking to regain some public trust as months of scathing criticism for his unseemly sucking up to Trump, is jumping off the Trump bandwagon (maybe).
“Donald, guess what, I’m not going to support you until you get your act together,” Scarborough said, despite supporting Trump previously. “You’re acting like bush-league loser, you’re acting like a racist, you’re acting like a bigot. This is called art of the deal. I’m taking my deal off the table. Until you come to the table and get on the other side of the table and prove to me you’re not a bigot and you don’t take my party down in the ditch, you don’t have my endorsement.”
