Mark Cuban is a pretty vocal guy – just like Donald Trump. Whether he’s sitting courtside at a Dallas Mavericks game or simply telling people how it is on the television show Shark Tank, the Texas billionaire isn’t afraid to parse words. And – on Thursday – during an interview at the SkyBridge Alternatives (SALT) Conference in Las Vegas, Cuban was no different.
When asked about Donald Trump, Cuban just couldn’t stop using Trump as a punchline in a seemingly never ending line of jokes:
“Everybody’s got that friend that you just shake your head at. He’s that guy who’d get drunk and fall over all the time, or just says dumb s— all the time, but he’s your friend.There’s that guy who’ll walk into a bar and say anything to get laid. That’s Donald Trump right now to a T. But it’s all of us who are going to get fucked.”
Then, Cuban hilariously compared Trump’s campaign to a season of Seinfeld, “It’s the campaign about nothing” before during an impression of an imaginary Trump on stage:
Cuban: Donald, you’re rich right? Then why don’t you build a wall. You’re a patriot, right?
What’s interesting is that Cuban was being interviewed by Anthony Scaramucci. He’s a hedge-fund guy who just recently joined Trump’s national finance committee. You can bet that the news of Cuban’s comments traveled fast to Trump, probably even before the news broke online.
As of right now, Trump has yet to comment, which is surprising since he comments on everything. Did Cuban just make Trump speechless? Looks like it.
