Anderson Cooper started tonight’s Trump family town hall by going one-on-one with Donald Trumphimself and grilling him over his complaints about the “rigged” system in Colorado.
Ted Cruz easily won Colorado and swept the vast majority of delegates because his campaign had a greater familiarity with the rules than Trump’s campaign. Cooper asked tonight, “The rules are the rules, didn’t you just get outplayed?”
Trump insisted he knew the rules fine, but the system was “stacked against me.” Cooper said, “You could’ve had a better organization on the ground” Trump insisted it was still a scheme to take him down.
Cooper made this observation:
“For somebody who touts himself as somebody who’s an organizational genius, as someone who’s created this amazing business organization, that you couldn’t create an organization on the ground that could beat Ted Cruz’s organization.”
