By the time Thursday night's Republican debate was over, it gave viewers a glimpse at who could become the next President of the United States. Following the debate's conclusion, the reaction from the media and potential voters was negative, as the candidate's childlike clashes were universally panned.

With Donald Trump's commanding lead in both national and state wide polls, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz were forced to change their debate style as they headed to Houston, Texas. Rubio attacked Trump for highering foreign workers in the past, while pointing out the current lawsuit against him in regards to "Trump University." The billionaire real estate fired back, calling Cruz a "basket case" and Rubio a "liar." This issue was discussed on the Feb 26 edition of "Real Time with Bill Maher" on HBO.
"When exactly did America end?" Maher asked his panel, referring to the previous night's debate as a "childish display." "The idea that these people are running for president," Maher said, noting "I stopped laughing at some point and I really wanted to shoot the TV like Elvis."
