Chukchi Sea: 10 years ago, this water was iced over from Dec to June. Now, Due to Warming, it is iced over from Late Dec to April.

Break up of ice is a significant time for the Inupiaks.  The love the sea freezing over and use the ice to hunt seal and whale for their families to eat.  They used to be able to be on the ice until June but now, breakup is happening in April.  The permafrost is now being threatened in the far north as well.  I was able to go to the underground whale meat storage and there was water in August.  The far north is warming which allows Methane pockets which have been held harmless by ice are now being released into the air.  The snow and ice also bounced the rays of the sun back into space and with less ice, the heat from the sun is being absorbed into the waters of the Chukchi which causes warming.

We have a problem folks.  It is past time to serious consideration of Global Warming.
