I have retired again.

I have left the village and spent last night in Kotzebue, AK on my way to Anchorage.  I will fly from Kotz to Anchorage and then on to Portland, OR today.

I have to help out with family.  As I get older, I am finding that when help is needed back home, I wanted to be part of the getting things back into shape.

It was 5 degrees in Pt Hope when I left and zero this morning in Kotzebue.

There were a thousand caribou running over the ice in Kotz two days ago.  I saw the ice yesterday but no caribou.  I did see about 100 seals in the water.

The ice is forming in the North.
