If you watched the Republican debate Wednesday night, you got to see exactly how people running for the most powerful seat in the free world should definitely not act. The GOP and the candidates tried to put the blame for the plethora of cross-talk, insults and interruptions on CNBC and their moderating team, but truth be told it was they who couldn’t remain civil for more than a few moments at a time, with almost every candidate whining about the questions, the format or their lack of camera time.
It was a mess. A free-for-all of stupid that devolved into nothing of substance within minutes. CNBC actually helped matters by largely ignoring Donald Trump and giving more time to people who seemed like they had something worthwhile to say, which wasn’t very often.
Nobody really knows who “won” the debacle, because really the only winners were the people who opted to watch Survivor instead.
