Creationism is not Science: It is Child Abuse

Intentionally teaching kids crazy information is wrong  The earth is Billions of years old, not 6000 years.

Faith, Jesus told his followers, is a personal matter. Religion, on the other hand — is big business. Yes, Christians, you’re instructed to share the Good News, but I don’t recall Christ ever saying, “or else.” Let’s leave the fanatical extremism of religion to the pros of ISIS (more accurately ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). If you’re uncomfortable with the analogy — that should be your first clue. If it made you feel militant, defensive or combative? Congratulations — you’re part of the problem.
One-by-one, Christians across this country are actively seeking out ways to climb up on the cross and sacrifice themselves on the altar of public piety (which is antithetical to Scripture). The Walmart fashion plate from Kentucky springs to mind — as do any of a dozen Republican politicians, such as the junior Senator from Texas, Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz. “Ted” believes people who trust science, “want to persecute anyone that has a good faith religious belief.” Wrong again, “Ted.”
This is America — where you’re free to believe anything you like. If you want to remain ignorant to what mankind has learned through scientific discovery (preferring to get your information from the 2nd century BCE) — then God bless. If you want to teach my childrenit’s okay to remain ignorant, telling them that apocryphal stories designed to placate the masses is “science”? — we’ve got a problem.

"Creationism is not Science: It is Child Abuse." I agree and this abuse is out of control, millions of victims. Unfortunately it's legal.
