DAYLIGHT all the time in Pt Hope, Alaska. Small Cruise Ship dropped by.

I woke up at midnight and it was very light outside.  I could not get to sleep again.  It was like it was 8 PM or so.  I could not get the shutters to block out the light.  Oh well.  It will be constantly dark starting in Dec.

We took kids home yesterday and one set of parents were not home.  They were late.  Evidently, we had a small cruise ship drop by the Old Village and The Pt Hope Dancers were Eskimo dancing for the people on the ship at the Old Village.

We told the parents if they do it again to let us know and we will take their son out to the Old Village and then we can watch the dancing too.  There are not many cruise ships that make it this far up North.  They are not the monster sized cruise ships which go to Juneau.
