I am now in Anchorage, AK. I fly to Barrow in 2 hours.

I was just reminded that there is no night in Barrow.

Flying in to Anchorage reminds me just how big Alaska is.  We had clouds but when we could see the ground, there was green or mountains with snow.  Not much for roads or houses until you come right up to Anchorage.

I am at the airport now, eating.  60 degrees in Anchorage.  It is 40 in Barrow.
