PORTLAND, Oregon RESIDENTS - YOU MUST FOLLOW THE RULES OF RETRIEVER TOWING or THEY WILL TOW YOU! However, Retriever Towing will only follow the City and State Laws which bring them more money.

RETRIEVER TOWING in Portland, OR will tow if a tow truck driver does not like where or how you park.  You must pay the fine or you get charged more daily storage fees.  YOU WILL PAY FOR PICTURES WHICH YOU NOT ALLOWED TO SEE. (You are allowed to sign away all rights of complaint with a HOLD HARMLESS PHOTO RELEASE. They do not accept it if the HOLD HARMLESS is crossed out.)

A Retriever Tow Truck Driver said:  'Little Grandma M needed to follow the laws so she wouldn't get towed.  We know the law because we have been towing a long time.'  I told him RETRIEVER TOWING DID NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WHERE IT WAS TOWED.  That makes it an illegal tow.  He replied: 'If it was an illegal tow, you would have gotten your money back.'  I INFORMED HIM THAT WE ARE WORKING THROUGH THE SYSTEM.

THE CITIZENS OF THE PORTLAND METRO AREA MUST FOLLOW THE RULES OR WE WILL BE TOWED!!!!!!!

That is the reality.

HOWEVER:

RETRIEVER TOWING CHOSE NOT TO FOLLOW CITY BUILDING LAWS AND RULES!!!  It was an intentional 'NO, I WON'T PAY THE MONEY TO PASS INSPECTIONS' type deal.  They put in a temporary building was told to make changes which would cost a few thousand dollars.  IGNORED THE CHANGE REQUEST,  CHANGED THE ADDRESS ON THE BUILDING and started working WITHOUT PERMITTING THE BUILDING.  THE BUILDING THEY ARE WORKING OUT OF HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED SINCE THEY OPENED IT UP FOR BUSINESS AT LEAST 7 YEARS AGO.  

SO, CITIZENS OF PORTLAND ------ YOU FOLLOW RETRIEVER TOWING RULES but RETRIEVER TOWING will only follow the rules and laws which make them money.
