Large majority of Americans back stronger gun policies, survey finds

A new survey published in the journal Preventive Medicine finds that a large majority of Americans, including gun owners, support strengthening policies to prevent gun violence.

More than 1,300 people responded to the national survey conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research and the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
