I will be teaching in North Slope, AK for the 2015/16 school year.

First off, I was pretty amazed at the opportunities I had to teach in both the Lower 48 and Alaska.

I was seriously talking to people about jobs in Seattle, Tacoma, The Dalles, Phoenix and many places in Alaska.

My final decision was to go to the North Slope where the pay is better and the weather is very extreme.  I thought I would have a real village experience again.  I was in Emmonak when I first went to AK and will end my AK experience in a village.

This blog will be about Alaska again starting August.  I will also cover politics because that is so very important now that the crazies have control over the House and Senate.
