The Incompetence of the Republican Party

This article keeps being rewritten, because examples of Republican government incompetence abound, and more examples become apparent almost daily. If you think the latest government shutdown and the constant brinksmanship is something brand new, you need to look at the data in this article. They’re not. If you think the fact that 144 Republicans in the House voted to default on the debt is a new thing, you haven’t been paying attention.

If you’ve had a hand in electing Republicans (and it’s not just right wingers), you are electing the most incompetent boobs in history to elective office. This isn’t just mean, it’s obvious when you look at the numbers. Not only does the federal government run better with Democrats in charge, but states that have been run by Democrats for years are simply better places to live than states run by Republicans. When you vote for Republicans, especially these days, you are opting to elect people who don’t care about you, or your life, or the lives of people in general. This shouldn’t be a surprise; listen to their rhetoric. Their main meme is that government can’t work, and if they did a good job running government, they’d actually undermine everything they claim to believe.
