Blacks do not think Robertson is harmless and a hero.
Political activist and former presidential candidate Rev. Jesse Jackson ripped suspended Duck Dynasty
star Phil Robertson in a statement on Wednesday, saying his actions
were worse than that of the bus driver who denied service to Rosa Parks,
the Chicago Tribune reported.
“At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her
seat to a white person, was following state law,” Jackson said in his
statement. “Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly
without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe
was ‘white privilege.’”
