I am on Vacation - I will spend time in Portland, OR from Christmas through New Years.

I am leaving Juneau for vacation.  The lakes are frozen, including Mendenhall Lake which is where this picture was taken.  I was able to go into the glacier over the frozen lake.  We got about 2 feet of snow the last few days. I have been shoveling a lot the past few days.  I just heard that Seattle had snow today.  Alaska looks like Christmas.  It just feels good to be going to spend the holidays with my family.It is kind of hard to believe that Christmas is next week.  Wishing all a good evening.
