Mendenhall Lake is Frozen - picture

I hiked into Mendenhall Glacier over the ice 12/8/13.  This is a chunk of ice that came off the Glacier and is frozen into Mendenhall Lake.  Climate Change is real.  The Rock to the right was totally covered with ice 2 years ago.  The front of the Glacier was also much higher than it is now.  The Glacier is retreating faster than scientists had predicted.  Glaciers in Alaska and worldwide are retreating very fast.  Glacier Park in Montana now has almost no Glaciers - they have melted away.
