Ferrari, by pushing its solution for the use of a hybrid for raw
horsepower, is leading the way for car manufacturers seeking to make
their cars fuel efficient. Ferrari’s conservative design nature is a
sign of how the world is shaping up, and a strong indicator of where the
future lies. Hybrid cars are now a status symbol, just as electric
windows once were. Expect them to be everywhere by the end of the
decade. While Ferrari was not the first, their embrace of it tells us
the time of the hybrid is now.
