Ted Nugent got a draft notice during Vietnam.  I did too.  TED SHITE HIMSELF FOR A MONTH BEFORE GOING TO HIS PHYSICAL!  He was declared unfit for service.  I got drafted and served because I would never consider doing such a thing.

In interviews, Nugent has provided varying accounts of how he avoided a seat on a troop transport to Southeast Asia. In a 1977 High Times interview, he claimed to have stopped bathing a month before his draft physical, adding that he showed up for the exam with pants “crusted” with urine and feces. “I was a walking, talking hunk of human poop,” recalled Nugent.

In his High Times interview, Nugent recalled his glee at evading the chance to defend his country (though he mixed up the 1-Y and 4-F deferments). “And in the mail I got this big juicy 4-F,” he said. “They’d call dead people before they’d call my ass.”

Now, Ted Nugent  plays himself as all knowing about the Military.  Ted Nugent is full of crap.  Soldiers are committing suicide because they have witness horrendous killings and destruction of people and property and then are going home to no jobs.  Ted Nugent has no right to talk about the military and the problems which they face.  Wars create suicides.  Those suicides were a big issue during the GW Bush years as well.
