It is an assault weapon! De-bunking the NRA myth

If it can kill 26 in less than 5 minutes, it is an assault weapon.

I  don’t know if there is an easier myth to debunk since conservative arms manufacturers and dealers clearly label their semi-automatic, military-style rifles for civilian use, like AR15s and AK-47s, “assault rifles“. The arms manufacturers and dealers are the experts, not right-wingers spreading the myth in blogs.
