Idiologically Similar?

Just think about it.  It is tongue in cheek but then...

  Just to be clear about a couple of things:  I'm not suggesting an equivalency between our religious and political lunatics and those who belong to Al Qaeda.  Nor am I saying that belonging to the Republican Party makes you an intolerant bigot capable of terrorist acts.  I'm just saying that people are often judged by the company they keep, and in this regard, Al Qaeda has some domestic company who share that organization's disgust with same-sex marriage and gay rights.

            If you belong to the Republican Party or send money to Pat Robertson or his ilk, you might want to reconsider who you're standing with on this issue.

            And if you belong to Al Qaeda you might want to do the same thing.  Do you really want to be seen in the same light as Republican evangelicals?
