Perseverance Trail and avalanches

I snow shoed up Perseverance a bit on some crappy ice/snow combinations. I came across two or three avalanches which had occurred within a week of my hiking the trail. There is a great trail that goes in about 5 miles but I was advised not to take it because of the avalanche danger on this trail There is also a spot where the mountain goats winter. I saw the scatter in the spring. I did not make it far enough to hit the mountain goat retreat.
