Sunny and Cold in Juneau - no new snow

Today, we have blasting winds which are blowing 40 to 80 MPH. It was super windy all last night, I was continually awaken with stuff hitting the windows and just the blasting wind sound.

These pictures are of a week ago when we had 10 degree weather and super sun. I had lost my wallet so I had no money to goof off and had to stay home. I just hiked the trails by my house and it was great. It is mid-January and I was able to hike up all the trails. We should have lots of snow which prevents that.

BUILDING: Some pictures show a big building which I have not even seen before. I have gone by it very often but it has been covered with brush and trees when I normally go past it. Because it is Jan and there are no leaves, it stands out like a sore thumb now. I was totally suprised to see it just standing there and did a little exploring.

There are more structures on the other side of the path where that building is.

I have seen the ones on the other side. It just blew me away to see this building though because it had escaped me for two years. I usually went up to the mountain in January I guess.
