I followed the link to the cartoon,
It is such a sad statement of how we view life today. People complain about the minimum wages, but we know that even with a lower income better than minimum wage it is damned hard to make ends meet, let alone look after a family. It is time that we all woke up and fought for a living wage for everyone.

I agree with you totally. It is hard to make it on a teacher's salary. I could not imagine on minimum wage.
