More Mendenhall

We have continued to have sunny days this week and it has remained cold. It has generally been about 25 degrees but the sun causes the ice and snow to melt a bit, which causes slick road conditions. A fellow teacher tried to stop, couldn't and hit an SUV which hit a school bus. That was the talk of the school by kids today. I am just glad it was not me. You can see ice bergs in the lake too.

How terrible about that accident! Lovely photos. I especially like the second one with the glacier clouse up.

It is great to see it up close, the color is pretty amazing. It is a very intense blue and is something else when the sun is shining through.
