Gray and White and cloudy
We are always under clouds in Juneau. It was rain clouds in the fall and then snow clouds in the winter. Last night, our snow clouds turned to rain clouds. We got about 15 inches of new snow and now we have constant rain. I was hoping to keep the snow through the weekend so I could cross country ski and snowboard. I am getting over a cold, so I should really slow down a bit.
These pictures are of the rare view of a night sky, which I just happened to see in the evening early this past week. Seeing the sun is memorable as is seeing stars and the moon.

The color of the sky is magnificent! Sorry to hear about the rain. I thought for sure with all that snow you would be able to do some winter sports this weekend. Maybe its just as well so you can get rid of that nasty cold and be all healthy again for the following weekend! ;o)
I have taken other evening shots that looked great but they did not come out on the camera. I was pleased with these pictures.
i went up to the mountain anyway. I am finding out that when it is raining down here, it is windy and snow/ice/ rain on the mountain.
At least you don't have to shovel rain....I don't miss those constant rain clouds 1 bit, I love seeing the sun most days. went to bass pro in Springfield with Lauren and Alex, Chuck's daughter and her hubby they are 22 what a delightful couple they are, he just got out of the marines and she is a registered nurse in Littlerock.
I believe I met them in San Diego when he graduated from basic training.
