Here is a picture of the avalanche. They got the road open last night. I was at the mountain when it happened so I missed the noise. I was told that the noise was chilling and scary. A neighbor's dog was shaking in fear for an hour.
The avalanche went all the way over the road and into the water. By the way, there used to be 40 foot trees to the right of the road.

Aw, the poor doggy. Cleanup after that must be tough. Especially with all of the snow that is on the ground as it is. Thanks for the update.
