school - snowcave
At school, we had a foot of snow and kids. We said, 'No throwing snowballs" but you can make snowmen, snow sculptures, etc. I saw a group of 5 kids making what I thought was an igloo and was informed that it is a snow cave for a lost baby bear. The kids were so pleased with themselves.
I went to Mendenhall Glacier and saw no eagles. I always see eagles there. I need to go back earlier in the day to see if I just got there late or maybe, they are heading south. I did not see any salmon in the stream. I did see little animal tracks. I did not see any bear tracks in the snow. I was told that there are 2 bears hanging around downtown Juneau. One bear was in a tree outside the pizza parlor, I saw the picture of it.
