10 inches of snow!

We had lots of snow last night, 10 inches. I parked the truck and walked. Here are two pictures. We had a traffic jam - 1st I've seen on Douglas Island. The Highway was a parking lot. THE ELECTRICITY TO THE ISLAND and eventually the town of Juneau, LOST POWER FOR 2 1/2 hours. We had no electricity. My room had no light. Flashlights worked. The kids did OK. Most other classes had windows and I slid into a room with windows to work with students. It turned out OK.
These pictures are with a flash at 8:15 AM. It was even darker than this at 4 PM when I walked home.
