The real danger here is not a bear! The real danger is fog. When hiking and the fog rolls in, it is easy to get on the wrong path and get lost. That is the word I got last week. When the fog happens and it happens often, it is pretty quick. Where ever you have lots of rain, you have fog.
I am going to buy bear spray though.

The bear spray is a strong pepper spray which bears do not like.
Ok Dad, bear spray sounds a bit like a fantastic marketing ploy specifically designed to rope folks from the lower 50 into spending money. How about making your own. I'll send you a string of dried cayanne from my garden.
