This is me, Rich Brisco, at -14 degrees in Emmonak, Alaska.

(My daughters dressed me, so blame them if I look funny.)

Dont worry, Dad, you look fantabulous. Like always!

Ashley gave me the hat, Brianna gave me the coat and Tricia gave me the pants by the way.

Careful- you talk too much crap about our sense of style I'll send you a pink, leather Nascar jacket!

I'll add one of those funky idiot hunter hats that I have been trying to buy for you for 3 months now, but Gar won't let me do it because he says it's cruel and unusual punishment.

Dad,

You need to put your gloves on and it looks like you need something around your neck. Keep warm, darling.

Tricia:

I wish I had that hat! Those are the hats people where around here.

I do need a scarf - you are totally correct there. It is supposed to warm up to +20 this coming week though - time for shorts.

People wear hats like that around here! (I put in the wrong where.)

I actually like those hats - Gar is the one who says they are out of style. You can get them at sportsmansguide.com. If I try to buy you one from Southern California it will probably be made of fake silk and fake fur and may keep you warm in your heated house.

Hi Bonnie,

Glad to see you found my blog. Ashley made me do this by the way. Sneakers don't work when you are outside here.
I keep indoor shoes at school and where boots that are good for -40 degrees.

I like this cold though.
