Anza - Barrago

My camera died and I can't put up new pictures so here is a picture from Dec 20, 07. Gar, Tricia, Shad and I were camping out here in Anza - Barrago. It was 70 degrees in Anza. It is a most impressive desert. Great winter camping area.

That was a great trip. Though, Shad did not like the cholla (jumping cactus) because he tested their jumping abilities once and discovered exactly why they are called jumping cactus. Poor kiddo.

Bet you won't be camping for a while, eh Dad?

I don't think I will be camping here. This is mild weather and I like my sleeping bag but it is not for -30 degrees.

To camp here, you would need an igloo or a cave built into the ice or snow.
