Polar Bears and Whaling - Stories kids are telling me

Since I am in a village which is 2000+ years old, there are some stories.

The Tikigaq People have been whaling since the village started.  I have only had 2 days of school but boys are telling me a lot about whaling and their experiences with polar bears.

A boy was telling me about being out in a boat and they got a whale and a polar bear went after the whale to get some meat.  He said the Polar Bear was close to the boat.

The same fellow was talking about getting a seal, gutting it on the ice and then a polar bear getting onto the ice to eat what was left.  He said they have video of it.  they spend time on the ice flows when getting seal and whales.
