Grizzly bear got shot - more added. I talked to others who were there.

I have talked to numerous students and kids graduated from Tikigaq School and they have interesting stories about animals.

The Grizzly Bear Story continues:  Continued and added to;  14 boys were camping outside the village and a Brown Bear went into their camp.  He was as close as 4 feet from boys.  Some were by the camp fire and others were in their tent.  The bear started to growl.  A boy had a gun and shot.

The bear ran to the water and started to cross the water.  There was a second shot that hit the bear in the butt when the bear was 50 feet out in the water.  The bear slowed down with paddling and slowly sank down.  The bear drowned and was not seen again.

They had school in two days so they left camping and came back to Pt Hope and started talking about it to everyone.

The more people that I talk to about it, the  more complete a story I am getting.
