This is a bush outside my apartment.

A little frosty.

Ok I think I'm officially obsessed with this whole blog bit. Sweet!

I agree! I'm on it constantly! Brian and I are thinking about getting a new iMac!

Obsession and a new i-Mac is what you two think of when you look at frozen bushes? Dude, I really need to get a farm and make you two plow fields with me for a month - then you'll be able to see the beauty in the lovely snow-insulated Alaskan bushes outside of Dad's icey door!

I see the beauty!

One teacher also has a farm outside of Fairbanks. He says that anything will grow there. He said there is great farming but it is costly to get the goods to market. Emmonak is not a great place for farming though, I think. Fishing is the thing here.

I wonder why Emmonak is not a great place for farming....could it be...no....it couldn't be that it is regularly below zero, could it? No, now that just doesn't make any sense!

At his farm yesterday around Fairbanks, it was -50 degrees while we had a measly -24. The interior is colder than Emmonak. But the Summer and Fall are supposed to be super productive with long days which allows for quick growth of crops.

Darn, I thought that was going to be a good one!
